Dr. Shaik Mazhar

Hello! My name is  Dr.Shaik Mazhar Ali. I am a Prosthodontist and a Chief clinical Dentist here at Alux dental, Hyderabad. I have been into clinical practice for over 6 years, with a strong interest in the field of clinical research. I have delivered comprehensive treatment plans alongside all orofacial treatment modalities for prosthetic rehabilitation for my patients.

I believe in creating relationships One Smile at a Time. I always take the time to get to know my patients so I can understand better and meet their specific needs and expectations in regards to their teeth and smile.I emphasise on the philosophy that patients should be treated both comprehensively and compassionately.

I am a specialist (Prosthodontist) with extensive training in all phases of a full mouth restoration. I work closely with my dental lab technician to achieve custom aesthetics and a very precise fit of the prosthesis.

My keen interest in geriatric dentistry or geriodontics has helped me deliver dental care to senior citizens where I deal with the diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of problems associated with normal ageing and age-related dental problems as part of an interdisciplinary team with other health care professionals.

I have expertise in cosmetic dentistry, smile designing, Veneers, maxillofacial prosthesis, crown & bridges; situation related dentures like (hollow denture, liquid supported denture, winged denture, overdenture, gold occlusals etc.) along with general dentistry.

I indulge in research, working with new age dental materials. PEEK (POLY ETHER ETHER KETONE) is one such intriguing subject. A new-age material for crowns and frameworks for prosthesis as it is strong as well as light in weight compared to the metal, which I believe is the future of dentistry.

I have presented 5 posters and 2 scientific paper presentations during my MDS course along with 1 international publication and 2 national publications under process.
